The event is part of the opening’s Choreographic Programme. The programme includes works in progress, dance acts and choreographic installations, with spectacular group productions sharing space with intimate solo activities.

Imagine a sunny picnic. From a distance, you are watching a group of people unwinding, lying, feeding one another. Want to join? Sticky Fingers Club explore the sense of closeness, to which they give themselves away. The sweat, they relax, they savour their being together.

The inspiration for this piece, coming from the painting Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe (Luncheon on the Grass) by Édouard Manet, the work that sparked a scandal (the provocative gaze of the woman, levelled directly at the viewer, proved to be particularly controversial), does not consist in the intention to shock, but it servers as a pretext for the artists to stare at the audience, freely and shamelessly.
